Results Tables:
Some of our advanced gymnasts took part in the London Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition on 22nd & 23rd April 2023.
This was our first competition post covid, so it was a new experience for most of these gymnasts.
They all performed well and enjoyed showing their routines to an audience.
Avondale won two bronze medals so credit to Matilda James and Amelia Jin.
Well done to ALL the gymnasts that participated and a big thank you to their coaches.
Our next competition is on Sunday 25th June 2023
Good Luck to all the Avondale gymnasts who will be taking part.

Team Championships Sunday 10th June
Emmie Atkinson, Mia Anghileri-Jarman, Jessica Cashman & Florence Hills represented Avondale in the Level 5 Senior Team Competition.
They did very well competing in a Senior category in spite of the fact that 3 of them were 2-3 years younger.

2016/17
2017 was quite a successful year for Avondale. We had a new HPC Pavel Todorov join our coaching team at the end of 2016. His knowledge and experience has helped in preparing our gymnasts for competitions where they have performed well and all achieved good results.
GIRLS REGIONAL GRADES CHAMPIONSHIPS 20TH FEBRUARY 2017
GRADE 6 IN AGE
Three girls competed (Jessica Cashman, Sarah Malik and Rhianne Sparrow) They all passed with Distictions
Jessica Cashman finished in the top 10 out of 37 gymnasts
GRADE 5
Three girls competed (Emmie Atkinson, Holly Baxter, and Rosie Reed) They all passed, two of them with Distinctions
GRADE 4
Francesca Anderson passed with Distinction.
Grade 3
Florence Hills passed with Distinction.

Mia Anghileri-Jarman passed her grade.

13 YRS: Florence Hills won a Silver medal on Bars.

2015/16
2016 was a difficult year for Avondale as we lost our male coach to another club. In true Avondale spirit we carried on and prepared our gymnasts for competitions where they performed well and achieved good results.
Girls Regional Grades Championships 20th February 2016
Grade 6 In Age
4 girls competed (Emmie Atkinson, Tanya Ivasyuk, Sienna Marodeen & Rosie Reed) they all passed with Distinction.
Grade 5
2 girls (Ruby Honnor & Francesca Anderson) passed.
Grade 3
2 girls competed (Maddie Fiford & Eden Honnor) they passed with Distinction. Eden came 6th overall. Maddie came 4th overall with the best score on Floor, 2nd best on Vault, Bar & Range & Conditioning.
National Grades 4 – 1 Championships
3 girls participated (Olivia Lett, Sophia Eichmann, Haruka Kurz & Mia Anghileri – Jarman) All three passed.

- Tabitha Nutt came 1st Overall L-3 and won Gold on Bars, Beam and Vault.
- May Collins came 2nd overall L-3 and won Gold on Floor.

- Madison Hutton came third Overall and took Gold on Bars and Vault.
- Savanah Knott Came first on Beam and Floor.

CLUB GRADE 13:
Mia Anghileri-Jarman, Eden Honnor, Jenna Senior, Martha Collins all passed Jenna achieved a distinction.
CLUB GRADE 12:
Olivia Lett passed with distinction.
CLUB GRADE 10:
Lottie Burridge passed, came 6th overall and got a ribbon.
CLUB GRADE 9:
Katherine Liley won Gold overall and had the highest score on vault, bar & beam.
LGF & HEATHROW INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONSIPS JUNE 2014:
Flora Anghileri- Jarman competed in Level 4 & came 18/24. Flora won a Gold medal on Vault.
Tabitha Nutt competed in Level 2. Tabitha came 2nd overall and won a Siver Medal. Tabitha also won 2 Gold Medals for Vault & Bars. This was a high level competition and Tabitha’s score was really impressive for this standard.
VOLUNTARY IN & OUT OF AGE LEVEL 5 CHAMPIONSHIP OCTOBER 2014:
Mia Anghileri-Jarman, Eden Honnor, Haruka Kurz,Olivia Lett & Lottie Burridge all did well.
BOYS:
Romano Wang competed U8 Elite. Romano came 3rd overall winning a bronze medal.
Ralph Hassan U8 Elite passed his grade & came 4th.
Jack Mower (L1 Elite-in age) passed his grade & selected to represent London at NDP Finals in Birmingham. London came 6/12

Jack Mower won Silver Medal overall & a Gold Medal on High Bar.

- Finian Daly came 4th overall in L3.
- Cameron Mayor took gold on rings in L5.
- Astad Mistry competed in L5, Came 2nd overall and took gold on High bar.
- Daniel Saboohi Competed in L2, came 3rd overall winning bronz medal and took gold on rings.

- Astad Mistry came second overall in L5.
- Cameron Mayor came 4th overall in L5 with the highest score on High bar.
Appratus Competition November 2012
- Daniel Saboohi came 1st on Vault in U10’s category.
- Finnian Daly took gold on P/Bars in U14’s category
Girls Club Grades Competition – February 2012
- Katherine Liley took silver overall in Grade 11.
- Tabitha Nutt came 3rd overall in Grade 10
- May Collins came 3rd overall in grade 6 and chosen to be a member of the team to represent London in National finals in Birmingham.
2011/12
Boys NDP Competition 20st march 2011
- Finian Daly came 3rd overall in L2.
- Cameron Mayor, Daniel Saboohi and Finian daly all qualified for a place in the National Finals team competing for London region in Birmingham on 14th May 2011.
- Daniel was invited to Lilleshall for National training.
Club & Regional Qualifiers Competition
- Danial Sobohi took Gold on Pommel Horse in level 1.
- Finnian Daly 3rd place overall, Gold on floor in level 2.
- Astad Mistry took Gold on High bar in level 4.
- Cameron Mayor, Danial Saboohi and Finnian Daly selected in a London team competing in nationals held at Birmingham.
- Daniel invited to Lilleshall national training centre for training.
Tony Johnston Competition
- Astad Mistry came 1st and Cameron Mayor came 3rd overall in Level 5.
- Daniel Saboohi came 1st overall and took 6 gold medals in level 2.
- Linus Hardwick came 1st Overall in Level 4 out of age.
- Jai Patel came 1st overall in level 2 out of age.
National Development Programme Club Grades
- Fabianna Rodi took gold model on asymmetric bars.
- May Collins came 1st overall in N.D.P. club grades with national finals and took gold on beam and asymmetric bar. She also secured a place in the London team competing for nationals in Birmingham.
Novice/Club Programe Spring and Autumn Competition April 2011
- Katherine Liley came 1st overall and took gold medal on vault.
- Tabitha Nutt came 3rd overall and took gold medal on vault.
